Back, bigger and badder than ever. We are delighted to announce the return
of the Irish Aerial Dance Fest for its' third year. This time we have a
brand new website dedicated to all things Aerial Dance. For full details on

boy and we're quite proud of it.
For a few highlights of this years festival we will see the return of Rachel
Strickland (USA), Dawn Pascoe (Oz), Lindsey Butcher (UK) and Jacques
Bertrand (Fra), all of whom will running classes and workshops during the
IADF. New additions to the programme we're especially excited about include
Fred Debs' Intensive Masterclass and High Performance Rigging's Bryan
Donaldson who will be running a weekend course on Rigging for Aerialists.
So make sure you get yourselves over to the new site now. Our ticket deals

ISACS Open Meeting
Irish Street Arts, Circus & Spectacle Network
ISACS will host and open meeting in Dance House, Foley Street, Dublin 1 _on
Thursday the 29^th of March, 2__012 (Time TBC) _The meeting will be chaired
by an independent facilitator and is open to anyone interested in the
direction and structure which they feel the ISACS network should take.
As well as discussion around the formal structure for the network, the
meeting will explore future funding avenues. ISACS will appoint a formal
board of directors at the open meeting. Nomination forms and outline
descriptions on the various positions are available online at

ISACS is a network which is open to all the Street Arts, Circus and
Spectacle professionals operating in Ireland.
Aerial Schools Project
Elphin Community College and Templemichael
We’ve just started into the Schools’ Aerial Project. This will involve
working with 4 teachers and over 50 students from Elphin Community College
in County Roscommon and Templemichael College in Longford on cocoons, dance
trapeze, rope and harness. The work will continue for 3 months and
culminate in matinee and evening performances in both the Backstage Theatre,
Longford (3^rd May) and the Roscommon Arts Centre (15^th May). The main
funding from this project has come from the Creative Engagement Fund with
the National Association for Principals and Deputies (NAPD). Tickets will
be available through the box offices for each of the theatres below.

Yeats Project and Sligo Sharing
Just a glimpse, you'll get more on this next month, but Fidget Feet and the
Hawk's Well Theatre in Sligo are working together with different groups of
Irish Traditional Dancers and Muscians on a show based around WB Yeats.
We'll be having a sharing of our project in its early stages next month on
the 26th of March, so keep your eyes peeled for more details early next
month.
